As a practicing designer with a background in engineering and over six years of professional experience in software product development, I have designed commercial software for desktop, web, and mobile.

I care deeply about people, and am passionate in the importance of building products for a diverse set of people. I believe strongly that design should be inclusive and serve in connecting people to the things they care most about. My purpose is to leverage design, engineering, and technology to empower and serve people in productive, meaningful ways.
I have hands-on experience in all phases of the modern product development process. I can lead product design, support myself & team with research and testing, facilitate the innovation process, and act as a strategic partner. I am experienced with a variety of development methods from waterfall to agile, and always find a way to bring collaboration, human-centered design, and iterative learning into the process.

Every Sunday I suit up to play in a women's soccer league. I also love cheering on all the local teams in the Portland area.

Traveling has given me the opportunity to explore my curiosity of other cultures. I am interested in the values and customs behind the people who make up these interesting places.
Drawing and Art

I continue to fuel my artistic side by participating in drawing sessions and attending art shows.
The Pacific Northwest

I have two pitbulls that often accompany me on my adventures to explore the beautiful area around Portland. We love to hike and camp and get out as much as the weather allows.
