The Product
Autodesk Fusion 360 is a professional yet easy-to-use CAD, CAM, and CAE tool that connects the entire product development process in a single cloud-based platform that works on both Mac and PC; in other words it's an approachable 3D modeling software that allows you to complete the product design process from start to finish. We have gone from a small unknown CAD program into a widely popular tool now used by hundreds of thousands of designers and engineers.

The Role
For the past 3 years, I have been one of the UX designers responsible for the core modeling functionality since the early stages of the product. Our focus is to create a CAD product that is approachable by everyone. The goal is to take complex workflows and transform them into intuitive and approachable designs so that even those who do not have a highly technical background will be able to pick up the software and create a product from concept to production. In this role I am responsible for all stages of the design process. Bringing value to our subscription customers by engaging in open conversation to create a user centered product by delivering consistent improvements through 6 week release cycles.
